KANSAS CITY, KANSAS BOWLING PIN SHOOT

Match Details

For the first event launching at Lee's Summit, we will be conducting a "King of the Hill" version of a Bowling Pin Shoot. This will be an open event to any and all participants that have the required gear. The event will include the following.

King of the Hill Bowling Pin Shoot:

Two shooters conduct a round. The winner shoots against a new shooter, though a sixth pin is added to the winner's table, while the challenger shoots the regular five pins. If the winner takes the subsequent round, a seventh pin is added to the winner's table, until such time as a challenger will be able to clear five pins faster than the King's ever-growing allotment. When the King of the Hill is beaten, the challenger becomes the new King, and a sixth pin is added, and the round continues until the participants arrive at a stopping point. During the event, Frontier Justice will provide two staff-certified Range Safety Officers acting as match facilitators and safety officers. Participants will need a verified safety waiver on file and pay the $25 match fee to participate.

This event will be conducted in front of the firing line, requiring participants to utilize a holster (outside or inside waistband allowed). A formal range safety briefing will be conducted prior to the match to familiarize participants with the range rules and match procedures. For the first match, we will require participants to use a semi-automatic handgun in one of the following calibers: .380, 9mm, .40, or .45. Participants can expect to shoot between 50 to 100 rounds during the match and can participate as many times as time permits. Additionally, during this first match, we will record the fastest times for a benchmark assessment to be used for a Bracket Style match in the future.
