COLD WEATHER CARRY -KANSAS CITY
Course Description:
Frontier Justice Winter carry workshop is designed to isolate the fundamental process of safely and effectively drawing from the holster while wearing winter attire. While the fundamentals remain similar, our goal for this session is to discuss the proper drawing technique when carrying in a new or unfamiliar position and the additional steps that come along with holster drawing when wearing cover garments. Included in the session will be a holster demo from some of our top holster brands and live fire on the range. We will spend 30 minutes in the classroom discussing safety, tactics, technique, procedure, and holster/carry position variations available to you. After the 30-minute overview, we will transition to the range for a session of dry and live fire fundamentals, putting those techniques into action.
Prerequisite:
We recommend that participants have a Pistol 2 or equivalent level of experience prior to this session. In order to participate in the live fire portion of the workshop, students must have a holster and belt that meets our requirements.
