Frontier Justice Heats Up Bolero Salon
LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. – A mix of leather and lace stole the show at Bolero Salon and Spa on Friday, October 17, when Frontier Justice gave its members a sneak preview of the western chic style that it will feature once open.
Members and friends were invited to Bolero Salon and Spa in Independence, Mo., to see, firsthand, models wearing clothing and accessories from brands that will be prominent in Frontier Justice’s boutique. Each model was set up at a station where guests could visit to see what was unique about each outfit.
“We wanted to show people what we have in store for them,” said Bren Brown, president and co-owner of Frontier Justice. “These clothes come to life when they are worn. Every piece tells a different story that can’t be seen on the rack.”
The collection of brands that Frontier Justice brings in is unique to the area. Each piece is selected based on how it fits in with others. Consumers can expect a variety of western flair that can’t be found anywhere else in Kansas City.
Doug Fry’s featured line of jewelry could even be considered works of art. Not only are the pieces handcrafted in Farmington, Mo., but custom charms can be ordered that carry a personalized thumbprint. Another unique line of jewelry – handcrafted beaded chokers and bracelets – is out of Butler, Mo.
“Fry’s jewelry is a great gift for relatives,” said Bren. “I personally have a charm bracelet with my kids’ finger prints on charms. It’s like I have a little piece of them with me all the time.”
